Here is the second in this series on court leadership and problem solving. This issue features the concept of taking problem solving actions that are technical (with known solutions) or adaptive (requiring new learning). This dichotomy of technical versus adaptive reminds us that it is ok to employ new learning and tactics, and in fact, they can enhance leadership and operational practices.
